Part of the "Letters to My Twenty-something Self" series, which was created as a celebration of my fiftieth birthday. This series focuses on the things I wish I had known in my twenties - life is short, stop worrying about what others think, stop hiding, shine brightly, be bold.
I chose the Parrot Tulip as my inspirtation for this series, because it does just that! It is unashamedly bright colored, bold in its markings, and flamboyant in the way it stands out. It isnt trying to be like anyone else - it stands proudly in its uniqueness.
