This *36x36 oil painting, on wrap around canvas all started with a fluorescent pink underpainting.  I got a lot of questions about what in the world I was going to do with this one!  (and a few looks that said the person was wondering what I could possibly be thinking!).  But I had this idea that needed to come to life on canvas.  The idea was a glow within a person that isn't always obvious at first observtion.  But the more your know them, the more you see it and reallize that it comes from a vibrant foundation that shines through, no matter what .  Do you know someone like that? Dont you want to be someone like that?!
 
* When purchasing a larger painting, please note that the painting, if needing to be shipped, will be taken off the wooden stretcher bars and shipped in a rolled tube.  This is done both to cut down the shipping costs associated with large artwork, and because it is the safest way to assure no damage is done to the canvas in shipping.  Once the painting is received, it can be taken to a framer who, for minimal cost,  can install it onto new stretcher bars to be hung.
