Hand painted porcelain Christmas ornament with a vintage vibe, featuring  Magnolia and Christmas berries.  I wanted this ornament to feel like it has been a family heirloom for generations.  I used a lovely mossy green for the background ( to make the Magnolia pop, but bright enough to stand out against the branches of your tree).  The Magnolia itself, is painted a creamy white with metallic gold accents on the inside.  The whole thing is topped off with dramatic dark magenta berries.
    The ornament itself is made of  a quality porcelain bulb in a tear drop shape, painted in acrylic with a UV protective satin varnish.  It is finished off with a Deep Magenta velvet ribbon with lovely frayed edges.
