  Everybody seems to love a Peony, partly because of their soft, intricate petals, but perhaps because their late May bloomtime often marks the change from Spring to true Summer in the garden.  
    These larger than life Peonies were painted using Peonies from my own garden, along with one (the pink with the white petal center) given to me by a sweet older lady at church who insisted on sharing some beauty from her garden with me.  Peonies are meant to be loved and shared.
