A 16x20 oil on wrap around canvas.  This painting was done in the early Spring of 2026, as new blooms were popping up daily in the garden.  I always find it a pleasant surprise in Spring when flowers that have grown for years in my garden, begin to bloom and catch me off guard - as if the long winter without seeing them made me forget they were ever there.  Springtime seems to be a constant rotation of pleasant surprises of new blooms.
