*36x48 oil on wrap around canvas.
This is part of the "Psalms" Series, conveying the idea of Psalm 42, where Kind David expressed the conflict of our feelings in dark times, of sadness, yet the knowing the truth that God is with us and can be trusted. We are often bowed down by life's troubles, yet choose to look up to the one who saves us in those troubles.
*When purchasing a larger painting, please note that the painting, if needing to be shipped, will be taken off the wooden stretcher bars and shipped in a rolled tube. This is done both to cut down the shipping costs associated with large artwork, and because it is the safest way to assure no damage is done to the canvas in shipping. Once the painting is received, it can be taken to a framer who, for minimal cost, can install it onto new stretcher bars to be hung.
Why So Downcast, Oh My Soul, Put Your Trust in God
Extra large works of art like this are taken off the stretcher bars and rolled up to be shipped in a tube. This better protects the painting from damage while shipping and also provides the collector a more cost effective shipping method.
When your artwork arrives, simply take it to a framing shop to have it mounted, once again, to the wooden stretcher bars. This is a simple procedure that any reputable framer will be able to perform.
